Plans are
already in progress for next year’s
camping season. The 2009 Camping Summer
Season will bring many changes to Hawk
Mountain Scout Reservation. Here you
will be able to find all the latest
plans and updates as they are being
made. Here are just a few of the some
of the exciting changes or 2009.

Cub Scout Resident Camp
-
We
will be offering Cub Resident
Camp twice this summer.
The first session will be June
19 - 21, 2009. The second
session will be July 31 - August
2, 2009.

Older
Boy Program
-
This year
lunch will be introducing an
exciting opportunity for older
boys. Scouts will have the
opportunity to spend two days
and nights on the Appalachian
Trail and two day kayaking on
the Schuylkill River. The
cost for this program will be
$350 per Scout.

Revisions to
Boy Scout program
- We are planning
adding some new merit badges.
We will keep you informed as
soon as plans are finished.
- CPR Training
- We will be
offering CPR training one night
every week. There will be a
minimal charge for the training and
pre-signup will be required.
The summer
of 2009 promises to be one of the very
best at Hawk Mountain Scout
Reservation. Many key staff members are
returning and we are very excited about
the upcoming year.
